Steve Hengeveld and a Honda CRF450 - 2007

The story about these guys got us thinking about how fast the KX5 really is. We followed their 'rules' the first year at Bonneville and it turns out the stock KX5 motor was fast enough to win!

This is where the MX top speed bar was first set at 123.75 m.p.h. We kept the stock pipe, carb & airbox and changed the tires, gearing & ran through the motor.....because that's what Bush did.
